The house

Three floors, one courtyard, and a terrace on top.

The riad is arranged on three floors around its open patio. On the ground floor, beside reception, a comfortable lounge is set for tea at any hour.

The rooms sit on the floors above, each a quiet retreat from the medina below. At the top, the rooftop terrace looks out over the old city, the best place in the house for breakfast in the sun and a glass of tea at dusk.

Authentic Moroccan cuisine, slow-cooked the old way.

Our Moroccan cooks follow ancestral recipes, with freshly ground spices and carefully chosen ingredients. Each tagine simmers slowly in a clay pot, and the couscous is hand-rolled and steamed the Berber way.

From pastilla to honey-almond pastries, every dish keeps its traditional preparation time, at prices that stay accessible. Ras el-hanout, saffron and orange blossom do the rest.
